Since the launch of our first helmet in 1997 we have been driven to push helmet technology to new levels. The release of our all new innovative V3 with exclusive features like Fluid Inside™, MVRS and CAGE™ construction, the V3 set a new level for premium helmet performance in MX19. MX20 marks the launch of our all new V2 helmet. Adopting key features such as Fluid Inside™, MVRS and Varizorb, the V2 sets a new standard in its class. Combined with our V1, the Fox helmet family sets a new standard at all levels.
Fluid® incorporates a matrix of pods oriented around the head and attached to the helmet interior. By precisely decoupling or “floating” the helmet on the head, each Fluid® pod matrix acts like CSF (Cerebral Spinal Fluid) to manage linear and rotational forces acting on the soft brain tissue.
At the moment of impact, the foam compresses to provide added low linear impact protection. Simultaneously, low shear fluid is dispersed throughout the pod creating a low shear plane that permits motion of the helmet relative to the head to provide rotational force protection.
